Meet Peter Bowden
First initiated into the healing arts through his own personal journey of healing & self discovery, Peter has lived among and learned from
native peoples, elders and wisdom keepers from around the world. Teachings traditionally handed down to him from the
Lakota, Apache, Inuit, Cree and South American Elders.
Peter's Mentor, Teacher & Guide, Inuit Elder - Grey Wolf passed on the blessing of crafting the Medicine Drum, in the traditional process of his people, based on the Sacred Hoop of Life.
Through the direct connection, guidance, and commitment to this path, Peter has been blessed with transformational gifts that he now has the pleasure and honor of sharing with others, through Shamanic Earth Medicine Ceremonies, Retreats & Educational Programs. Shamanic Earth Medicine is a collective of Peter’s life service, his offerings are a
culmination of a lifetime of sacred practice, learning, initiation into the healing arts, teaching, and fully embodied immersive experiential living.
Healer | Medicine Man | Shaman
Peter is a World Renowned Healer, Drum Maker & Shaman, drawing from many years of exploration into the Shamanic Arts, Sound Healing and Medicine Drum Making, passed on through his Indigenous Ancestors and Mentors from across the world.
“As I experience this life, I acknowledge that we are all a part of each other sharing this journey. From the depths of my heart and soul, I honour those who have walked this path before me, with me and to those who I am still to meet. “
Learn how to journey powerfully into the unknown to rediscover that spark of soul connection, light & consciousness within
to heal and transform your life.
During his journey into self discovery, Peter found that his Great Grandmother was Indigenous Australian, from the stolen generation, through his mother’s family line.
This awakening was a powerful activation in Peter’s journey as he re-established connection to his people, the Cummeragunja Mob of the Yorta Yorta Nation and re-connected to his ancestral lands. Anchoring his shamanic practices and wisdom even deeper into the breadth of understanding and respect for all life on Mother Earth. Honoring ancient and sacred ways
of being that have been passed on through Indigenous knowledge & traditional wisdom.
“In full Honour and Dedication to my Great Grandma Chance –
I never met you in the flesh, but I see you and feel you in Spirit.”
We have all been here before, though we don’t remember.
Our Journeys are long, with many memories of the past
for our Ancestors have walked this path long before us.
The more I walk this earth path the more I find myself
being drawn back into this present moment, to open my heart
in the truthfulness of all this beauty,
the beauty that is within me and all around me.
As my path unfolds before me,
I ask you all to open your hearts within the essence of your being,
to Mother Earth’s rhythmical heartbeat, to breath with Her in all Her glory;
connect to Creator with prayers of the heart.
Opening to the beauty and oneness as brothers and sisters,
as we offer up Sacred Smoke as prayers.
Aho! Mitakuye Oyasin (we are all related)
the Great Mystery
and all living Beings
